With just over two weeks until Christmas, it’s definitely time to start sending out cards and getting our Christmas shopping done. So as we try to calculate just how long it will take for some international shipping, here’s this week’s quick pick of internet finds. As usual, good things come in threes…
♥ The Urban List’s Bride Guide has some hot tips for bridal bouquet trends for 2014.
♥ The Vintage and Handmade Bride has some great inspiration for creative table runners for your reception.
♥ I loved this gorgeous Bride’s story about having a custom wedding dress that was about her, not about how anyone else thought she should look.
Art & Design
♥ Instagram is a great reminder of how much people appreciate the same things in life. Art Director Thomas Jullien demonstrates the point nicely with this video complied from 852 different pictures, from 852 different Instagram users.

♥ Twitter account @ FacesPics collates pictures of things that look like faces of people or animals. It’s surprisingly entertaining.
♥ Hats off to the Baltimore Office of Promotion & the Arts who decided that they’d like some creative pedestrian crossings in their new Arts and Entertainment District.

For the next three weeks our random links will be all about Christmas.
♥ If you’re in Brisbane and you’re looking for some really special Christmas gifts you might want to check out the Queensland Antique Dealers Association’s 2013 Christmas Selling Exhibition. It’s on at the Old Museum in Bowen Hills from 10am – 5pm on Saturday and Sunday. Entry is $6.
♥ Speaking of special gifts, these dinosaur mittens would make an awesome gift for those in cooler climates.
♥ MOO have an interesting (and yes, geeky) infographic on the anatomy of the Christmas Card.
That’s it for another week’s quick picks. Have a great weekend!
P.S. We don’t receive payment or gifts to list products or services in our Quick Picks, we link to stuff because we like it.
